These two BIM Execution Plan templates for Pre-Contract and Post Contract are referred to in Figure 4 of PAS 1192-2. This figure gives details of the relationship between documents used for information management. The BIM Execution Plan (BEP) is submitted firstly pre-contract to address the issues raised in the EIR and then with more detail post-contract award to explain the supplier’s methodology for delivering the project using BIM.
Information on the production of the pre-contract execution plan is given in PAS 1192-2 clause 6.2. Information on the production of the post contract execution plan is given in PAS 1192-2 clause 7.2.
